GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Teaching Assistant

Ellie McCarthy

Ellie joined Floreat Montague Park as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice in September 2021. Prior to joining Floreat, she completed and passed her GCSES including a distinction in child development. Since working at Floreat, she has enjoyed widening her knowledge and experience of Early Years and Key Stage 1 children. Ellie particularly likes doing interventions and watching how the children progress, which is very rewarding.

Outside of work Ellie loves to spend time with my family and friends. She also enjoys acting and even appeared on several tv programmes when she was younger!
